Rising Star Stable

Steve and Tiffany Fagan, a husband and wife team, are the owners of Rising Star Stable.  Starting their own equestrian business has been a dream come true.  Steve and Tiffany met while attending school at Meredith Manor International Equestrian Center.  After graduating they ran a successful hunter/jumper/dressage barn in Northern Illinois.  A few cold winters later they decided it was time to move back south!  Finding their own 10 acre farm in Maiden, NC they decided it was time to start a business of their own.  Steve and Tiffany have a love for animals that extends beyond horses.  With a house full of dogs, cats, and 2 potbellied pigs Rising Star Stables is a great place to bring the kids for a visit!  With a lot of hard work and dedication Steve and Tiffany are proud to open Rising Star Stable.  We look forward to helping you with all of your equine needs.

Steve Fagan

 A graduate of Meredith Manor International Equestrian Center with a Riding Master III, Steve is a certified Farrier and Trainer.  Steve has a tremendous work ethic and is always striving to make the farm just a little bit better.  Steve has a great strength about him while handling horses that he compliments with a quiet and calm attitude.  Steve rides western and has studied the discipline of reining.  Steve’s knowledge of how horses move under saddle has influenced his farrier skills.  He always makes sure that the horse is well balanced and looks at the horse’s conformation when making a plan of action for the horse’s hooves.  Steve is always calm with horses and never handles them in a rough manner making the horse much more relaxed while being trimmed /shod.

Tiffany Fagan

As a graduate of Meredith Manor International Equestrian Center with a Riding Master VI, Tiffany is well versed in riding theory, horse health, equine massage, barn management, and stable practices.  She routinely starts young horses under saddle and retrains horses requiring tune-ups. With a passion for teaching Tiffany enjoys helping riders develop an independent seat and watch riders begin to influence the horse.  Her students will never be told to “do” anything without a knowledgeable explanation of the theory behind it (the “why”).
