Rising Star Stable

We offer several different options for training.  Whether you have a young horse that needs to be started, a horse that just needs a refresher, or have a horse with a behavioral issue we can help.  We offer training board at our farm or we can travel to your farm for a training ride. *must have an enclosed riding ring for training rides outside of our property.

Young, green horses, "spooky" horses and horses with behavioral issues do best when given plenty of time to become settled in their new environment and become confident in the new skills they are learning.  Therefore, it is suggested a minimum of two (2) months for these types of horses.

Training w/ full board...........................$500.00 (month)

Includes:12x10 stall, de-worming, hay, grain and five training sessions per week.

Training w/ full board..............................$200.00(week)

Training ride trailered in.......................................$35.00

Training ride at your farm........................$40.00 and up

 *Horses must have current coggins to enter Rising Star Stables property.

*Sorry folks stallions over the age of two not accepted for full board training. Exceptions may be made depending on temperament.

Training Philosophy

Our Philosophy for training is to asses each horse’s level and treat each horse as an individual case. We will always be patient and aware of the horse’s abilities.  We will do everything we are capable of to see every horse grow into accomplished athletes. We will keep a safe comfortable environment for the horse to be trained in. Ground manners are just as important as riding and the horses training will reflect this. Never will we raise a hand in anger. We will always take the horse’s emotional training as serious as their physical training. We as trainers will constantly strive to improve ourselves in order to better the horses we train.
